In the 1920's, a villa on the road from Beaufort to Llangynidr was subjected to some occurences that included strange lights, audible phenomena and the movement of various household items.  It was suspected that one of the occupiers could have been responsible, but no evidence was found to either prove or disprove this theory.  No recent information has come to the fore regarding this case.
