Ghost Hunting: How to Investigate the Paranormal
Loyd Auerbach
Ronin Publishing (2004)
ISBN: 1-57951-067-1
This is an excellent book by a well-established American Parapsychologist, Loyd Auerbach. He outlines what procedures an investigation should follow, what equipment should
be used, the types of phenomena and difficulties arising with this field of study. He
talks from many years experience in the field of research.
Auerbach may also find himself causing many to ask some searching questions of themselves
as novice investigators. He questions the current interest and activities of
new research groups who have become “enamoured” with technological gadgetry, and wait for hours in graveyards,
becoming excitable at the slightest noise.
This is a must have for all serious paranormal investigators bookshelves. This book will feature in your efforts to become a sound researcher.
Top quotation: “A chimpanzee can learn to use a camera or an EMF meter, but that doesn’t mean the chimp
is being scientific”.
How true!
