ESP, Hauntings and Poltergeists: A Parapsychologists Handbook
By Loyd Auerbach
Published by Warner Books
This wonderful book was produced in 1986 by the American Parapsychologist, Loyd Auerbach. Although nearly 20 years old, it has many chapters that are of relevance today. Auerbach covers topics about what parapsychology is and is not; defines ESP, Hauntings, Apparitions and
Poltergeists; how parapsychology fits in alongside other sciences; studying the relationship between the media and the science,
and how film and television have impacted upon the research; analyses some case research; and finally gives practical advice
to the would-be investigator. It has 463 pages of worthwhile information, and
I would strongly recommend those serious about their studies should read this book.
