Built in 1820, this folly is home to a number of ghosts that pre-date its construction.  The ghost of a 17th century Civil War soldier has been reported; a white lady wearing "a gown and a long, pointed hat with a veil" has been seen nearby; the Red Lady wanders the grounds at dusk; the stables are haunted, and there is also a cursed room.  To top it all off, the road below the castle is said to have a number of ghosts!  The apparition of an old woman and a "mysterious ball or wheel of fire" have been witnessed along the road.
